Milano = Gucci und Gucci = Milano! So einfach ist es. Na gut, es gibt natürlich noch viel mehr tolle Marken im schönen Mailand, aber Gucci ist eine Show, auf die ich mich immer ganz besonders freue. Und es war auch eine echt geniale Show! Habt Ihr überhaupt den Livestream gesehen?
Inspiriert wurde Frida Giannini von dem kanadischen Maler Kris Knight und sie zeigte uns überwiegend pastellige Töne, ergänzt mit Schwarz. Alles drehte sich rund um Leder (gehört ja zum traditionellen Handwerk von Gucci) und ich sage nur ein Stichwort: perfekte Verarbeitung! Lederjacken, Hemden aus Nappaleder und auch an Revers und Bund von Sakko und Smoking durfte Leder nicht fehlen. Dazu Rollkragenpullover, schmale Hosen, Mäntel aus dem traditionell-toskanischen Casentino-Wollstoff und Schuhe mit robuster Sohle. Schaut Euch am besten die Bilder und das Video zum Finale an:
Eine richtig geniale Kollektion, tragbar und auch so schön weich (das Leder!) und flauschig (die Mäntel!) – davon konnte ich mich beim Re-See am nächsten Tag überzeugen und mir die Details noch einmal in Ruhe anschauen.
Auch Bryanboy hat darüber gebloggt, obwohl er nicht vor Ort war – das sagt ja bereits etwas über die Show aus. Wisst Ihr was, er hat recht. Frida, bitte mach weiter so und jeder Herbst/Winter wird einfach ein toller sein! Danke!
Milano = Gucci and Gucci = Milano! Of course there are many more great labels, but I am always looking forward to this special show at the Milan Menswear Fashion Week. And it was a brilliant show!
Frida Giannini was inspired by the Canadian artist Kris Knight and showed us pastel colors combined with black. Leather (part of the traditional Gucci handcrafting) was the key material: leather jackets, shirts and leather at revers and waistband of jackets and smoking, elegant and in high-quality. Turtlenecks, slim trousers, coats of traditional Casentino-wool and shoes with robust sole are also part of the collection. Brilliant and wearable, I could have a look at the details at the Re-See the next day and could feel the very soft and fluffy materials.
Bryanboy wrote about the show as well, although he wasn`t in Milano – says a lot – and he’s right. Frida, please keep it up and every Fall/Winter will be just a great one! Thank you!
