Driver to the Cadillac Experience Event in Berlin

Toll, was da mittlerweile möglich ist! Leckere Burger – was will man(n) mehr!

English:

‚If you go to the right, a black Cadillac is waiting for you’ – the voice on the phone said. Berlin was calling for the ‘Cadillac Experience’ right in the middle of the city.
As promised the driver (in the black Cadillac) drove me to my hotel. First thing I noticed: seat heating in the back of the car. I asked the driver for his experience with the Cadillac and he answered, that it was really good to drive. So I was looking forward to the test drive the next day!
After a super delicious breakfast with self-squeezed orange juice (that is only one point, why I can recommend the hotel i 31) we went to the parking garage at Bebelplatz, where we could have a detailed look at the Cadillacs and learn more about the company itself.
It is interesting, where the future in the automotive sector is going. Technology and driving comfort are continuously improved; autonomous driving is more and more the key. What I was missing were thoughts about the fuel consumption, a subject, of course, not only Cadillac, but all automobile manufacturers have to think more about. But we’ll see what is going on in the future.
Then we had the chance for a test drive in a Cadillac. Well, in Berlin it is hardly possible to drive more than 50km/h, but pushing the pedal you could get a feeling for the power. The translation might work a little better, but that’s grumping on a high level. A big plus: the safety detections and warnings, especially noticed when leaving a parking place – everything was signaled by a sensor.
It was a very cool event with fancy cars and delicious burgers. Cadillac can definitely keep up with ‘our’ cars and the value for money fits together. We`re curious to see what Cadillac will show us in the future. Thank you for the interesting time – a personal wish: next time in Detroit and with the new Corvette please. 😉
