I love it!

News of the Ermenegildo Zegna group is always something special. You could already read the teaser on my Facebook Page or on Twitter or google+ for the first news of the collaboration between Sergio Marchionne (CEO of the Fiat Group) and Gildo Zegna (CEO of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group). They signed a contract about working together for the next three years. In 2014 there will be a limited edition of the Maserati Quattroporte by Ermenegildo Zegna with 100 cars. Of course there are only 99 Maserati left, because one is mine. 😉 (it doesn’t hurt to dream…)

Step two of the Ermenegildo Zegna news is the new eyewear-collection, straight, elegant and with light retro-design. I love the decoration inside the earpieces; they would fit to my Zegna tie perfectly!

Last one is placed Down Under (Sydney), where the 50th Anniversary of the Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Awards took place. The award has the intention to honor the Australian woolgrowers for their high quality since 1963. Why exactly Australia? Because Australia has 76 million of sheep and nearly 70% of them are pure merino sheep – perfect for the exclusive Ermenegildo Zegna fabrics.
It was a two-day celebration starting with visits to some of the top Australian wool farms. At the end there was a fashion show in the historic Royal Hall of Industries in Sydney’s Moore Park district. It was a very special fashion event showing the Fall/Winter 2013 collection and a unique capsule that has been created in honor of the 50th Anniversary Celebration and featured an exclusive new fabric, ‚Trofeo Natural Comfort‘ in pied-de-poule. Peak of the celebration was the Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Awards for Superfine wool and the winner of the prestigious ‚Vellus Aureum Trophy‘.

Fluffy wool in Australia, perfect perspective with the new glasses and a lot of horse power – I love it!
